Buyhopper — Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

Buyhopper (formerly StickyCart) adds a sticky Add to Cart bar to online store product pages. These documents explain how we handle data and what governs your use of the app.

Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Buyhopper ("the App", "we", "us") is a third-party application available on the Wix App Market, developed by Michael Adam (Brivano Labs). Site owners ("Site Owners") install the App on their online store to show a sticky Add to Cart bar to their visitors ("Shoppers").

2. Data we collect

Buyhopper does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. The App has no servers and no database of its own.

• The bar is a small script that runs only in the Shopper's browser, on the store's product pages.
• It reads the product options shown on the page (for example size or color) only to check that the Shopper has chosen them, and then uses the store's own Add to Cart button.
• Products, prices, stock, carts and checkout are handled entirely by the store platform, under the store's and Wix's own policies. Buyhopper never sees or receives cart contents, order details or payment information.
• As part of installing any app, Wix may make basic site details (such as the site ID) available to the App. We do not store or use them.

3. How we use data

Because we do not collect data, we do not use, sell, rent or share any data, and we do not use data for advertising, analytics or profiling.

4. Third parties

Buyhopper does not send data to any third party and uses no sub-processors. The App's script is delivered by Wix as part of the store's site.

5. Cookies & tracking

Buyhopper does not set cookies, does not use browser storage, and does not use tracking pixels or analytics scripts.

6. Data retention & your rights

Since we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you still have the right to ask us about your data; contact us at the email address below and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Children's privacy

Buyhopper is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.

8. Changes to this policy

If a future version of the App starts handling any data, we will update this policy before that change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using Buyhopper ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of service

Buyhopper shows a sticky Add to Cart bar on product pages of online stores built on Wix. The bar uses the store's own Add to Cart button, cart, stock rules and settings. The App is distributed through the Wix App Market and is also subject to Wix's platform terms.

3. Site owner responsibilities

• Using the App in line with applicable laws and Wix's Terms of Service.
• Checking that the bar works as expected with their store's design, products and settings.
• Their products, prices, stock, orders and checkout, which are managed by the store platform and not by the App.

4. Pricing

Buyhopper is currently free. If paid plans are introduced, they will be offered through the Wix App Market, and existing users will be told before any charge applies.

5. Intellectual property

The Buyhopper application, its code, design and branding are the intellectual property of Michael Adam. You may not copy, modify or redistribute the App except as allowed by the Wix App Market.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Buyhopper is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every store design, or suitable for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buyhopper and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of the App, including lost sales, lost revenue or lost data.

8. Termination

Site Owners may uninstall the App at any time from their Wix dashboard; the bar stops appearing immediately. We may discontinue the App or end access for anyone who violates these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Israel.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
